YEAH I SAID IT!! DUMMIES!! There are big dummies out there.. but ahhhh haaaaaaaaa I got their number and those dummies are only lining my fat pockets in my big girl jeans (I gained over 50lbs the last year so I can officially say I'm a big girl again.. I can also announce I'm back on Weight Watchers so eventually I'll start blogging about that too)
And back to the dummies.. Sooooooooo today I wanted to take the $3 coupons to Walgreens to grab some FREEBIE Ben & Jerry's ice cream, however, since I'm on WW again I figured I'd get some of their "light" stuff or sorbet. OF COURSE my WAGS had none of that... only the wonderfully yummy full fat stuff and really not a great selection at that. Of course they had their most popular yummmmmy flavors, just none that could jive on a diet. So I decided to go next door to Jewel that had them 2/$7 this week. I figured I could pay 50 cents for each instead.. that's fine.
So back in the truck (we got about 9" of snow over the past 24 hours so I needed the 4x4) and slid over to Jewel. I decided since I was there that *sigh* I should hit their buy $30 get $15 in CATS back deal.. hooo hummm.. so I grabbed some PT & TP (paper towels and toilet paper) and up to the register I go.
I get rung up, hand over my coupons and of course MY LUCK no CATS print. So little miss manager JUST SO HAPPENED to be "clocked out" and was in my line trying to buy a few items for her dinner and ran around the counter to try to figure out what was wrong. So she rings up a separate order trying to force the CATS to print, NO GO.. ughhh so she sends me to the service desk. In the process she pushed my cart to the side right next to the garbage can. She comes back hands me my 3 $5 CATS, smiles and says "thanks for being so patient" (*sigh* I love you little manager lady). So I'm fumbling in my purse to put my precious $15 in CATS in an envelope.. and I lQQk down in the garbage AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW... MORE $5 CATS JUST LAYING RIGHT ON TOP!! Who the heck is out there THROWING AWAY MONEY? Who is it? I want to know because if they got money to burn like that then I want to be adopted so you can just throw it at me night and day.
There were 2 of them right on top, I was lQQking for that third one, I KNOW YOU ARE IN HERE... nope.. couldn't do it without being completely obvious.. so I just left.. but here is how my transaction went down (basically)
2/$7 Ben & Jerry's ice cream used two IP $3 coupons = $1/2
1 24 pack of Charmin Big Rolls $12.99 (sale based on shelf price of $17.99) used 35 cent manu
1 10 pack (? is that right) of Bounty select a size $10 (shelf price of $12.99)used 35 cent manu
he gave me my total that was insane.. I handed over the above coupons PLUS $15 in CATS from the last time I ran that deal.. my total $10.xx
(the above story happened, no CATS blah blah blah) so I paid $10 OOP and left with $25 in CATS!! ♥ IT!!!

exhausted.. sorry no pics
A local grocery store Jewel (which is owned by Albertsons) is doing that great spend $30 get back $15 on certain products.. yeah well.. I tried to roll those RR and it didn't turn out that well.. here is what I did. All prices are off shelf prices not sale prices so I had to calculate everything out to get the deals based on shelf not sale prices which can be pretty sweet.
FIRST TRANSACTION
3 packages of diapers on sale $10 each
NO I'M NOT PREGGERS.. I am saving them for a baby shower I'm going to soon.
used 3 $1 coupons
My total was $28
got back $15 from the regular promotion
plus an extra $5 from another deal where if you spend $25 on baby products you get $5!!
2ND TRANSACTION
6 boxes of cascadian farms granola bars $4.64 3/$10 on sale
2 boxes of puffs $1.25 on sale (fillers)
used 6 $1 coupons on the granola bars, didn't bring any puff coupons.. are there any out there? used $15 in RR from first transaction. Paid $2.xx OOP
3RD TRANSACTION
(they wouldn't let me buy any more P&G products with the coupons so I ditched what would have been my 3rd transaction and got these)
1 gallon of milk $1.99
10 Dannon Light and Fit Yogurts ~ ughh I seriously can not remember the sale on these. I had .50 cent off 2 coupons loaded on my Jewel preferred card plus I used a $1/10 coupon and a buy 6 get 1 free coupon.
1 loaf of bread $1
4 cans of cat food again I don't remember the price.
My total came to $6.38 paid with one of the $5 RR's and $1.38 OOP
Left the store with $15 in RR's I can use another day.
I also made a quick stop at Walgreens to grab the Electrasol dishwasher tabs. On sale for $3.49, used the $2.50 coupon from the paper. Then paid with my GC and will apply for the rebate this month.
That's all I've got for tonight everyone. Sorry. this whole job thing has got me wondering how all the rest of you do it!! *sigh*

a mish mosh of shopping
I did some shopping yesterday and today.. just wanted to share/brag my buys.. I just emailed a friend of mine a few deals. I'm just going to copy/paste this email because it has some good deals going on not only in my area but also in other states. It gives some good information to those people who are new to couponing as well.
You might have already seen these yourself.. but I wanted to make sure you knew about them because they are THAT GOOD! First that $20 P&G deal doesn't end until the 15th I think.. so take your time if you need to on that one. I just realized that last night and was sorta miffed because I know I could have waited for better Avenu coupons.
At Jewel this week, you might have seen this in their ad, they are doing this weird buy 4 for $19 meats or something. The Pub burgers are part of that. I don't have ad in front of me but basically it would be get 16 burgers for $19 for that's $1.20 for each burger! The lowest they ever went was $1 each! Luckily you have an extra freezer so you can buy these things up!! I use them to make everything from meat loaf to spaghetti and of course we do have burgers sometimes too.. but it's a great deal!!
Not sure if you have read on her website or you knew, but Target has their own coupons as well. ON their website it you scroll to the bottom of the HOME page. The link will be under TARGET STORES then it says SUPER TARGET COUPONS + SPECIALS. if you go into that you can print the coupons, one or all of them if you would like. The best part of this is that you don't have to print them at home. When you go to Target use their "registry" computers where you print baby/wedding registry and you can log on to their website and scroll down just like you would do at home, pick which coupons, and print just like at home but you dont' have to waste your paper or ink!! whoo hoo.
The reason I'm telling you about the Target coupons is because those coupons sometimes have real deals behind them. Like last week I printed out a few $1 off fresh broccoli or cauliflower. Entire heads were on sale for $1.33 so for 33 cents I got a head of broccoli and a head of cauliflower. Also right now there is $2 off ARcher farms HAM. They have Ham's that are cut in little chunks for under $2 so you could make that for dinner and have FREE meat for dinner (ham steaks, or cube it up for breakfast or make a tator tot casserole or any casserole for dinner with it! yumm)
ok that's all I got.. just wanted to let you in on the secrets!
ok, back to my deals! lol!
Walgreens
2 9" plates 79 cents each
2 6" plates 79 cents each
3 chapstick 99 cents buy 2 get one free
$7.xx on GC I took a picture of this because I found 2 that had 80 plates for the same price versus 72 plates. Basically I got 16 extra plates! Just something to watch for.
Meijer
2 Hanes Womens socks $4.49
1 Hanes Men's socks $5.99
buy 3 Hanes products get $10 off deal. Paid $5.33 OOP and got back a $3/$15 CAT for my next trip! woot!
Dominicks
10 Welch's grape juice on sale for $2.99 each. If you buy 5 you get $5 off brings them down to $1.99 each. Used $1 manu coupons for each. Paid 99 cents each. Paid $10.xx OOP (we were actually out of juice believe it or not)
K-Mart (don't have the receipt in front of me so bear with me)
3 Reynolds Alum foil $2.99 each used $1 manus doubled paid 99 cents each
4 Beggin strips no clue on price used $1 manus doubled
3 Endust $3.29 each used $2 manus took add'l $1.29 off FREEBIE
3 Scotch lint sheet roll $3.29 each used $1 manus paid $1.29 for each
1 Lifesavers $1.79 used $1 manu took add'l 79 cents off FREEBIE
4 Quaker granola bars $2.99 each used $1 manus doubled paid 99 cents each (my manu's were actually for another line of Quaker but I had asked another double coupon week and they took them because they don't carry the other line at any of our area stores)
used $5/$50 coupon I got from electronics department that of course expired yesterday but the front register let me use (he had to ask the service desk manager and she said it was okay). My original total was $58.xx after coupons I paid $11.xx OOP.

I'm a dope, but I found someone that is more of a dope..
I decided to run out and hit 3 stores today. Walgreens, CVS, and Jewel. All three transactions I could have done better. Don't get me wrong, I still got good deals on everything but... could have spent less OOP if I had thought about it. Also, I'm taking down the ticker because well.. IT'S MOCKING ME and my loser ability to fail miserably at a task within 3 days time.. nice huh? I've done better.. I've quit diets 9 minutes in before. I'm THAT good folks!
CVS
♥6 Glade scented square thingys $2.50 each used BOGO coupons
♥4 Duracell batteries $5.99 each used 75 cent coupons and $5/2 coupons
okay here is where I get dumb.. for some reason I was calculating what I had to spend to get the items trying to figure out if it was a better deal to do one or two transactions and whether I should grab other items. I didn't have any filler ideas or extra coupons so I said forget it and walked up to the cashier. Of course, as soon as I walk up to the empty front 5 people get in line behind me. My total comes to $42.xx before coupons and I'm thinking DOHHHHH I could have gotten $8 worth of stuff and used a $10/$50 coupon which I have several of! grr.. I didn't want to tick anyone off so I just dealt with it.
Used a $15 ECB which the cashier couldn't get to work, I know my first $15 ECB from Duracell also wouldn't work and the cashier had to key it in as three separate $5 ECBs. So this cashier decided she couldn't figure out how to get it to work so she calls over another cashier. He comes over and keys it in as I paid $15 cash. Okay that works. My total was $5.xx so I used my debit card. The drawer opens and the cashier is standing there asking ME WHY the drawer opened and I said "because he keyed my ECB in as CASH" she said "any other time I key something in as cash it doesn't open the drawer" so I asked her "okay how do you put CASH in the DRAWER when a customer PAYS WITH CASH?" and she waves at me like I wouldn't understand. {{rolling my eyes here}} anyway.. I got back another $15 ECB for Duracell and $5 ECB for glade.
Jewel
♥7 Philadelphia cream cheese 99 cents each
used 3 .50/2 coupons
total OOP was $5.55 and got back a CAT for $4!! so these cream cheeses cost me roughly 22 cents each!! woot!
this was a Walgreens double dip deal that has been talked about all over for the past couple weeks in anticipation of monthly double dip days. Anyway, there weren't many double dip deals this month but I like this shampoo so I wanted in on this. The way that the deal read was that these shampoo/conditioners were 2/$20 there was an ESC from the new December book for $5 each and of course the ESR for $10 so I'm expecting free shampoo in the end of the deal. I get there and there are no December books. So I go to grab my poo and the shelf says 3/$20 not 2/$20. and in my head I'm like whooo hoo I'm gonna make $5 on this deal with that $5 off coupon. So I go to the front and ask for the book and the cashier finds one, I flip through and find a coupon and it's for $2 off not $5. I didn't see any other coupons so I had to pay $15 off my GC. I wasn't happy.. but i guess I got all three for $5 which isn't bad.. but I don't know what went wrong here.. ???

I *think* this is my last Jewel deal.. however, the night is young..
♥ 6 All detergents 3/$10 used 2 $1 IP coupons and 2 $1/2 coupons
3 $5 CATS/RR's whatever you call them
$2.24 OOP received another 3 $5 CATS OYNO
**note I heard this deal works with only 5 All detergents.. but I figured the total would be $13.xx and I wanted to get over the $15 instead of having to find fillers. Plus I had also heard some people had issues when only buying 5. Either way it worked for me with 6 and I was happy! :)
these pics are sorta out of order.. but oh well.. My son needed to go to Wal-Mart and I had a few coupons I knew I could get some freebies with so I decided to quickly get some coupons together. This is what I got for a good deal/free/was paid to take. I didn't put everything in the picture. I did get a new pair of fuzzy boots, a thing of celery salt, my son got a bunch of fishing stuff (why we had to go fishing in WINTER IN CHICAGO.. UH HUH)and some more of those Tic Tac Chills which I found 2 more coupons for.
♥11 Johnson buddies (10 pictures my 14 yo son is showering with the last one as I type this!) 94 cents each used $1 coupons, some $3/3 coupons, and some IP coupons I had all in different places!
♥8 Well Patches 97 cents each used $1 coupons
♥2 Vlasic pickles $1.76 used $1 IP coupons horrible price for this size jar usually I get the huge jar for this price during rollback. My son is a pickle hound and I just gave my last huge jar to my mom to keep at her house so my pickle hound child can eat through those at her house instead of the ones she buys! lol!
♥3 Zone Perfect bars 97 cents each used $1 coupons (I had a ton more coupons but of course they had only 3 bars left)
♥All You Magazine $2.xx ughh I need to order a subscription! lol!
Walgreens
♥10 packs Wrigley gum $1.19 each WAGS BOGO coupon and BOGO manus FREEBIE
♥1 Celestial Seasonings tea $1.50 (my signs even at this WAGS said $2/5 I even took a pic with my camera phone this time) used $1 manu and had cashier scan ESC for the other 50 cents.
My total was 13 cents... I was digging in my purse and the cashier used the take penny/leave a penny fund which had a dime and several pennies. Done! I still have more BOGO Wrigley coupons however I didn't know how many they would allow me to buy at one time which is why throughout the week I started at 4 packs and moved up to 8 and now 10.

♫ ♫I wanna love you, squeeze you, wrap my arms around you♫ ♫
Yeah yeah yeah!!! I just had a great errand run.. and I know I'll have more tomorrow.. whoo hooo hooooooo!! Okay so the other day when I mentioned that I wasn't as organized as I could have been.. that was because I went to Jewel to get in on the spend $30 on specific products get $15 RR back.. um yeah.. I get there and realize I have coupons for the wrong protein bars! oops.. so I got all flustered and walked out.. because I knew I couldn't get another good deal together in a few minutes.
Okay two things.. I don't have my receipt up here with me, which I should, and my flyer blew away from Jewel so I don't have everything exact in front of me.. bear with me here.
♥6 Progresso chicken stocks $1.66 ea used $1 coupons
♥2 Progresso soups $1.66 ea used $1.10 coupons + THINGS TO WATCH FOR there was a peelie on one of them to save 50 cents if you bought that soup and one Progresso chicken stock
♥2 Lipton teas $2.50 ea used two 60 cents coupons + two e coupons $2 off EACH!! FREEBIE
♥4 Green Giant veggies $1 each used $1/2 IP coupons
♥2 Cubs reusable bags 2/$4 (realized I need 2 more the other night)
♥2 Banquet breakfast sausage BOGO $2.29 no coupons
♥2 Halloween napkins 50 cents each
♥Halloween headband 50 cents
My total came out to $17.38 (I think) and I got back $15. so minus out the bags, Halloween stuff, and the sausage I paid roughly $10 for all the buy $30 worth get $15 RR's!! Not a bad deal for all that. Plus I can ROLL these RR's I've heard. Also, this deal is based on SHELF PRICE not sale price and all items are on sale! whoooo hooo!!
BzzAgent sent me this!! whoo hoo! I can't wait to try it out!! Yeahh for BzzAgent.. but they also sent me these...
a whole book of $5 off coupons and buy 3 get one free refills! whoo hoo

Weekend shops, sorry no pics
I didn't do that well so I didn't take pics.
I went to Ulta, found a $5/$10 coupon that I had from getting the magazine deal.. which was good because I got the store and asked for a flyer for the coupon and the refused to give me one.. they had one but it was blacked out! whatever! geez. I couldn't find one from my Sunday paper, not sure why I didn't get one.. didn't get one in the mail either. oh well...
I got 6 Bonne Bell Lip Smackers $1.59 each used 3 $1/2 coupons (I just noticed she only scanned 2 of them ughh) and that $5 coupon. My total was $2.74. Not good, could have been less.
I ran to Walgreens just to use that $5/$25 coupon here is what I wound up with
2 bags of socks on clearance for $3.19
1 bag of socks regular price $6
1 KY Intrigue $19.99 used $5 IP and two $5 ESC (oct & nov) $4.99
4/$10 M & M's (figure left overs could be used for Christmas bags) used two $1/2
$5/$25
$8 RR
Total OOP $14.67 got nothing back. I might be able to claim the M&M's on Nov rebates for $5 back? I gotta look it up.

thhhhhhhhpppffffffffff
ughhh I'm an idiot.. but okay.. I'm still labeling this as a rookie mistake even though I don't believe I'm a complete rookie anymore.. but I still messed up.. *sigh* Okay... just look at what I did.. not bad.. but I could have done BETTER *double sigh*
I'm telling you.. this whole unemployment bs has my brain in mush.. seriously.. so a good friend of mine calls and we both forgot to give each other some stuff yesterday when we saw each other (double mush) so we decide to meet up because REDBOX sent out a free code for Walgreens redboxes only. Well of course the only WAGS that has a redbox near me is by her house.. cool.. we can meet up and I can show her how to use the redbox because another girl I told about it got all confused and missed the code screen and had to pay. Okay whatever. So I'm driving to her house and for whatever reason I turn as if I'm driving TO her house and then just keep driving thinking I'm going to the WAGS that is the other direction from her house. All of a sudden I realize I'm in the next town over from her house (in Chicago burbs all the towns are stacked on top of each other) so I pull into that WAGS and decide just to run in really quick and see if they have the LINDT chocolate bars that I've been trying to get a great deal on.. I mean get paid to buy.. so OF COURSE THEY HAVE THEM!
So my dumb arse calls her and says "umm I went to the wrong WAGS I'm a dork" she says she'll come meet me. She's always wanted to shop with me, so cool she can see in action.. so I realize because the Lindt deal PAYS YOU 25 CENTS for each bar that I need to grab other stuff for the overage (if I got it). So I decide to grab the candy deal to use towards Halloween Candy. I couldn't print the $1 coupons because my computer is like FORT KNOX because my computer techie cousin blocks me from everything because I'd crash and burn my computer if I was left to my own devices (I collect viruses because I'm cheap and they are free) {ha ha that was a joke} okay so I grab 4 m&m bags, check the ES catalog to make sure I'm grabbing the correct product for that rebate, go through my coupons and find just one coupon that's $1 off 3.. okay cool.
I get up to the line, hand the cashier my stuff, my stack of coupons and she goes to scan the $1 off 3 coupon and it says "item not found" or something.. I grab the coupon and say out loud "I'm a dumb arse I didn't buy HERSHEY CANDY SORRY" and tuck it back in my organizer.. now she has 18 other coupons to scan for my purchase and ONE WOULD THINK I'D GRAB MY SNACK/CANDY ENVELOPE AND LQQK FOR OTHER COUPONS I COULD USE WHICH I KNEW I HAD BECAUSE I REMEMBER THINKING OOOH I'M GONNA KEEP THESE FOR HALLOWEEN CANDY FOR THE TRICK OR TREATERS buuuuuut noooooooooo I didn't do that.. my total came to $8.72 (or something who is counting anyway?) and I hand her a $8 RR and of course it doesn't go through because I wouldn't be paying for tax or because I used a coupon for almost everything else I bought.. I don't know.. so I grab the RR back and pay with my debit card.
I got home and realized said idiot moronic error, grabbed said snack/candy envelope and found 4 $1/2 m&m fun sized coupons within seconds. I'm a dork. Yes, I am.
But for $8. and whatever cents I got what's in the two top pics.
18 Lindt candy bar which will make nice extras for my Christmas bags ALL FREE PLUS A 25 CENT OVERAGE (did I do that math right?)
4 bags of M&M's which I'll be getting a $4 rebate on.
Not a bad haul but I could have gotten it for $6 OOP and then grabbed something else for say $2.50 and got it all for the price of tax.. yeah huh. drive through.
So here is the best part.. we get out to the parking lot and I tell her I want to go to her Jewel because I wanted to see if they had the Cubs/Bears bags that she told me was in the Jewel sale flyer (which I looked at 3 times myself and even comment to my husband about but didn't but 2 and 2 together because like I've said 40 times my brain is mush.. so until she actually SAID IT TO ME and I grabbed my flyer for the 18th time this week and looked again it didn't click.. ugh) so I ask her is it easier to turn left out of her on the road or should I go out the other exit that take you to a side street with a stop light so I can turn left...
Yeah Carolyn says "YOU WANT TO GO TO JEWEL NEXT, YOU NEED TO GO RIGHT" oh yeah DOH! I just said that like right before I asked if I should turn left out of the parking lot.. it's gonna be a long night friends.. as my cousin Heather says "grab a cup of Joe and a pad"
Okay Jewel.. I walk in and they have an entire display of these bags! woot! so I grab 4 of each (I can't even think long enough to figure out who I need them for I just know I got 10 of the girl ones so 8 should be good, I think, I don't know.. I can buy more later) I didn't touch the Sox ones cuz my grandma would roll over in her grave and hunt me or haunt me or something. She would.
Anyway they were 2/$4 which makes me think they'll go down in price.. but I've been looking for these specifically for so long.. I'm just happy to get them. Then little pimple Johnny cashier is telling me how much he likes them.. and that THEY JUST GOT THEM IN and I said "this is the last day for the sale of the flyer they were in" he said "right, it's been a huge issue all week people looking for them" cool.. glad I got some then since it was such a huge issue.
I grabbed 2 more $1.99 milk for my 14 yo son who drinks a gallon or two a day and that was my Jewel trip!
and finally the grand finale to end all grand finales or whatever.. I made it to the Walgreens I was supposed to be at.. walked around the store twice.. found one of these Lysol things that was on super duper sale that I had $5 coupon for.. my total make to $1.49 with tax.. hmm weird.. I have a ton of these coupons, I'm hoping one store will have one so I can double dip on Friday/Saturday this week and get the rebate for it next month. Anyway.. I got one.. I'm happy.. so I ask where is their RedBox machine.. IT'S OUTSIDE! brrr.. ok
RedBox code is 122WAG for anyone else who didn't get the text. I rented 2 movies.. The Orphanage which is Spanish (I didn't read that it was, but it has English subtitles) and The Hulk which of course I sort of remembered my husband saying he saw.. then I get home and start telling him what I rented.. oh yeah you saw The Hulk didn't you "YUP" .. yup I'm a moron today.. total brain mush! lol!

green/red peppers I got for 99 cents a lb and had chopped and froze
onion I got on clearance for 79 cents for 3lbs
grilled summer squash I had cut up and frozen because I couldn't finish it
red pepper flakes
chili powder
parsley cube
I wanted to make chili but didn't want to use my ground beef.. so I used chicken instead..I HAVE SOO MUCH OF IT!! it came out sooo yummy and filling. It was nice because yesterday was such a cold/rainy day here in Chicago... it was nice to have something warm. I was thinking I could do this same recipe with different beans, seriously anything would work, and no chicken breasts. That way I could have meatless meals with plenty of protein! You could always add a little shredded cheese on top or even a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.. booo yahhh!! yummooooo

whoooo wags is like buttahhhh
Soooo easy! I had gotten both the Lypsl and the Nivea body wash this month and of course by the time I went to enter those receipts the check boxes were gone! I was flustered but then heard that people were still getting them anyway. I checked their website late last night and they added them! Yeahhh!! Good thing too because myson opened that body wash the day after I brought it home, I was going to return it!

busy weekend
I did do some hounding this weekend.. mostly just trying to grab a few WAGS deals. I wound up having to go to several stores in order to get what I wanted. No pictures either, I was just too busy to get everything put together and now I'm sick and just don't feel like digging everything out.
Okay this is what I wound up with from WAGS this weekend.
Nivea Mens body wash $5.49 used $1 coupon
Lypsl lip $2.99 no coupon
**thought these both were added to the October ESR however I got home and tried to enter them and they are gone! Sure enough checked the sites I had seen them and everyone said they were taken down..?? should I return them?**
Rimmell foundation $7.49 used $1 coupon ESR FREEBIE
A&H Laundry detergent $2.99 used $1 coupon $1 ESR
3 Scrubbing Bubbles shower FOAMER $3.99 used 2 $2 coupons and 1 $1 coupon ESR
L'Oreal Towelettes $7.99 used $1 coupon ESR FREEBIE
I called Walgreens customer service this weekend because I never did get 2 of my ESR's from last month.. the Pert and the Acid controller because the cashier couldn't get my coupons to work so the manager had her do a price modification and instead she took the products off and then put them in as numbered items.. so it looked as if I hadn't even bought those products however I had. So they did credit me the full amounts for those. I was told the first time I called that you can't use coupons on ESR deals?? what? okay I always have and see that everybody does as well... IN FACT my WAGS had those little yellow dots on the L'Oreal towellettes saying if you pay at the cosmetic counter they'll give you a $1 off (coupons they keep over there) that were clearly marked as FREEBIE items....???
Okay last but not least my son got a drum set! I didn't take any pictures of it.. DOH but basically he got a set for $250 off of craigslist. Luckily this set we found happened to be very close to my sons dads house so we took them right over there for him to set up. He's spending the day today banging away! lol!

2nd stop WAGS and the rest of my ride smelled great
♥6 Glade scented candle refills $1.99 each used B2G1 coupon and will get $4 ESR
♥2 boxes envelopes 99 cents
♥1 carmex $1.59 (had to grab a fast filler I'd use)
♥4 shredded cheese 2/$3
used $5/$20 coupon and my total OOP $12.28
This WAGS I went to I always get amazing customer service which is why going to K-Mart didn't seem like a big deal because if I was just going to the grocery store and CVS there were 3 other WAGS I could have gone to.

for the 400th time.. I have no clue what happened..
Double Dip Days started at midnight.. so guess where I was at 11:48pm.... ha ha ha getting all the deals because someone else always beats me to them.. well not sure if it helped or not.. we'll see.
♥10 bottles of glade spray $3.99 each used 10 $1.50 manu coupons plus $1 Sept ESC and will get back $10 from Oct ESR in the end 49 cents each (well less with the extra 10% ESR)
♥6 Glade Candle $5.99 each used 6 $2 manu coupons plus $2 Sept ESC plus will get back $8 from Oct ESR so 4 of them are free and the other 2 were $1.99
♥12 Herbert Choc bars $1.99 each (somewhere I thought I had seen they were on sale 2/$3 but I guess they aren't) used the $3/2 coupon so wound up being 2/99 cents
♥Revlon nail polish $4.79 used $2 manu plus will get back $4.79 from Sept ESR
♥Pert Plus $3.79 (the shelf said $3.49 I swear) used $2 manu $2.50 Oct ESC plus will get back I'm not sure because the coupon wouldn't work so they hard coded it in as $1.29
♥Acid Reducer $7.99 used $2 Pharmacy coupon and another I don't know what I'll get back because she hard coded $5.99 because that Pharmacy coupon wouldn't work but it should be $7.99 Sept ESR or free
♥snapple packets $2 (was looking for the Wylers ones they used to sell couldn't find them)
♥2 Shake n light flashlights on clearance for $2.49 each (I have a small one in my car I love, got this for my dad. He drives back and forth to AZ a few times a year)
Okay that sums it up.. my total came to $130 then I gave her coupons and she had to hard code the Oct ESC because they wouldn't scan and the pharmacy coupons. Plus I had the prices wrong on the Glade Spray I thought they were $2.99 each and the Herbert Chocolate so I'm thinking of returning them. hmm anyway after all the coupons plus the $5/$20 (I should have separated this into a few transactions to get at least another $5 off, oh well) then a $4.50 RR plus $12.48 off my CG my total OOP was $38.27. If I get all my rebates back plus 10% I'll get back $38.50. Not too shabby! lol!
**yeah I just figured it out.. if I had cut it into 3 transactions or even 2 I would have paid $26 OOP after $4.50 RR and $12 GC instead of $38. Can't win them all!

early Sunday WAGS run
well it was early for me.. 8:10am is really early for me since I've been unemployed.. anyway... I went specifically for the Scrubbing Bubbles shower deal which was $19.99 on sale with a $5 manu coupon plus I used my $10 RR from last week and got another $10 back! My WAGS has always had exactly 3 of these on the shelf at any given time.. not sure how I know this but it's true so I wanted to be there bright and early to cash in on this deal. I basically only had to spend $5 OOP for this (considering I don't count RR's I earn until I use them) but I had my GC so my total was 0 oop!! yeahh!!
anyway.. I was there and my buddy Julie was working and of course I decided to look at clearance stuff since I brought no other coupons than my RR and manu with! amazed? I was too.. I think Julie thought I couldn't walk without that coupon box, it holds me up ya know!
anyway.. this is what I walked out with.
My total after coupons was $59.88 but I paid with my GC no wonder my GC goes so fast every month! lol! Most of the stuff I got is for all the kids I buy Christmas gifts for. The BBQ set was $5.19 and that is for my brother/sister in law, the desk lamp is for my father in law and the wind chimes are for all the ladies I have between my and my husbands family.
So I'm going to start listing out the people I buy for and figuring out what is for whom and what else I need to buy to fill the gaps. Either way I think I'm in pretty good shape!

WAGS came through for me TWICE!! amazing!
Soooo last night I got a phone call from Walgreens saying that they are giving me a curtosey $5 Rebate for a folder I bought that they are claiming was the wrong one for the rebate HOWEVER in the picture it's exactly the same.. cool.. so after that message I decided to call to find out if I had any money yet on my card.. YES!! My entire rebate has already been loaded! yeahhh wags! So everything from here on out is free for me...
but I'm going to need it.. because my husband got laid off today! ughhh not good. seriously. I've been unemployed since April and still have no idea when I'll be going back to work.. ughh
But my shopping day got even better than yesterday! I bet you can't wait to hear why and how! lol! I went to Aldi just to get a few items I needed for this weekend. As I'm walking around the store I see this really old man walk up to an Aldi employee and say "where is the pasta, my wife writes the list and I can never find the stuff when she sends me by myself" so the girl points in a general direction and say "Larry you ASK ME THIS every time you come YOU should know by know" with this the manager walks out shaking his head and says "geez YOU SHOULD JUST DO ALL HIS SHOPPING FOR HIM CONSIDERING THAT'S WHAT HE WANTS YOU TO DO ANYWAY" in a loud shouting voice! ughhh whatever.. so I get my items go to the front.. the line is of course down the isle and mr manager opens a 2nd register.. seeing everybody in front of me has like 3 things each I of course wind up in mr managers line.. he put up the CLOSED sign after my order.. this guy walks up behind me and has 3 items all the same and he says to him "THAT'S OKAY REPUBLICANS DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ EITHER" ughhh what??? what is that about? seriously!!
So yes, my day was swell how was yours? lol! :)
